By checking the port authorization checkbox, you acknowledge that you are the responsible billed party for the phone number(s) submitted on the form (Your Phone Number(s)), and that you authorize Flash Mobile to act as your representative or agent for the purpose of transferring Your Phone Number(s) to Flash Mobile. Additionally, you authorize Flash Mobile and your current telecommunications service provider (Current Provider) to share appropriate billing information as necessary, and to manage the process for the transfer of Your Phone Number(s) to Flash Mobile.
After the port is successful, you will no longer be able to use Your Phone Number(s) with your Current Provider, and you will be responsible for payment of all outstanding charges including any fees that may be assessed by your Current Provider for canceling service.
Not all telephone numbers are eligible for porting to Flash Mobile Service. We do not guarantee that number transfers to or from us will be successful and you should be aware that some services (e.g. 911 location services) may not be immediately available. We will contact you in the event that your number cannot be ported and will offer you alternative options for activating service.
When you attempt to port a number from your Current Provider, there may be a failure or time delay in the process resulting in your inability to use your device with your Flash Mobile Service or any other wireless service. In any case, you agree that any port attempt is done at your own risk and that Flash Mobile has no responsibility for any delays or failures in the porting or device import process. Flash Mobile is not responsible for restoring your number to your former or any other service even if the port process fails due to device incompatibility or ineligibility. In addition, you understand that Flash Mobile has no obligation to provide any technical support for the porting or device import process.
DO NOT CANCEL SERVICE WITH YOUR CURRENT PROVIDER UNTIL AFTER YOUR PHONE NUMBER(S) HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY "PORTED" TO FLASH MOBILE. If you cancel service with your Current Provider prior to successfully porting Your Phone Number(s) to Flash Mobile, you risk losing Your Phone Number(s). Upon submission of your port order, you will be provided with an order confirmation on-line and to the email address provided with this order. The confirmation will provide simple instruction to check the status of your port order.
If you are porting Your Phone Number(s) from your Current Provider and already have a Flash Mobile SIM in hand, once you have been notified that the port was successful, simply insert your Flash Mobile SIM into your device and restart to active your Flash Mobile service. Your billing cycle will begin at that time.
IF YOU ARE PORTING YOUR PHONE NUMBER(S) FROM YOUR CURRENT PROVIDER AND HAVE PURCHASED A NEW FLASH MOBILE SIM, A NEW FLASH MOBILE SIM WILL BE SHIPPED TO YOU. YOU WILL HAVE 14 DAYS FROM THE TIME YOU SUBMITTED YOUR ORDER TO COMPLETE THE PORT REQUEST BY LOGGING IN TO YOUR ACCOUNT. ONLY COMPLETE THE PORT REQUEST ONCE YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR FLASH MOBILE SIM CARD. UPON SUCCESSFUL PORT NOTIFICATION FROM FLASH MOBILE, SIMPLY INSERT YOUR FLASH MOBILE SIM INTO YOUR DEVICE AND RESTART TO ACTIVATE YOUR FLASH MOBILE SERVICE. YOUR BILLING CYCLE WILL BEGIN AT THAT TIME.
IF YOU FAIL TO COMPLETE THE PORT REQUEST BY DAY 14, WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE TO YOU, THE PENDING PORT REQUEST WILL AUTOMATICALLY CANCEL.
Checking the Porting Terms and Conditions box indicates your understanding of the porting process and all charges that may be due and payable as described above.
If you authorize another carrier to transfer a number away from us, that is considered a request by you to us to terminate all of the Services associated with that number. You will remain responsible for all fees and charges owed in connection with your Service, including fees and charges through the end of the current billing cycle, and you will not be entitled to a refund of any balance on your account.
